TREK STORAGE announces world's first 5400 rpm plug and play notebook drive.

Today Trek Storage is happy to announce the release of their Lightning series
of plug and play notebook drives.

Utilizing IBM's new Travelstar 32gh hard drive.

Introducing the worlds fastest notebook drive kit to date spinning at an incredible
maximum speed of 5400 rpm.
This is an increase of spindle speed of at least 20% over today's standard mobile drives.

The Lightning series of drives also arrive with a staggering 2mb cache buffer.

Initial drive size to be available 11-05-00 has an astounding 32gb capacity.

The Lightning series drives are designed for premium notebook computers, and hold four times as much data as the average notebook hard drive.
